Military personnel cannot be denied the opportunity to obtain a library card.The card can be renewed after the six months if patron is still residing there. Patrons must provide letter from shelter verifying they are residing there. Patrons with a primary residence in temporary housing are to be given a regular PPLC card which will expire after 6 months.The parent or guardian listed on juvenile accounts is responsible for all library fines and materials.Library cards are issued to children 16 and older who can provide photo ID with their current Pinellas County address such as a Florida Driver's License or state ID.DVD checkout is allowed on a child card at the parent's or guardian's discretion.Legal guardians must show guardianship papers. To obtain a card at the Largo Public Library, a patron must be a Pinellas County resident or property owner and provide a valid Florida driver's license, Florida identification card, or picture ID with their name and current address. ![]()
